Fast Ditch Effort

OK, it’s now Day 2 of my abandonment of my juice fast. (Yes, I just needed some way to work that title in.)

Just two things:

1. People who rant about how much they hate religious right-wingers (excuse me, "people o’ faith") are just as annoying as the religious right-wingers themselves. Especially if they just… cannot… drop… the topic. I mean, either say your piece and be done with it or at least come up with some more creative reasons to justify your distaste than "They’re just on a low intellectual level. They’re just like kindergarteners, intellectually." (Of course, anyone who knows Fisher knows that one’s kindergartener status does not automatically consign one to "low intellectual level" status.)

2. Did you notice the new list "Mollybloggers?" It’s all links to ummm… blogs… by, ummmm… Mollys. (Not Mollies. These are Mollys with Ys.) Check ’em out.

‘K, I lied. There are three things.

3. Today marks the longest stretch of uninterrupted bloggifying days since the Picayune-Democrat‘s inception. Yay, persistence! Naysayers, say nay no more!

But I’ll probably take tomorrow off, unless something truly earthshattering happens at Fisher’s birthday party (thirteen six-and-under kids plus two babies plus ??? adults plus Bananas Fun Park equals… a hell of a lot of money spent on pizza and mini golf).
