IT’S DONE IT’S DONE IT’S DONE IT’S DONE

Just sent the last piece out the door.

I had finished the final chapter last night and gone back to add some image tags and captions to one of the other chapters… when all of a sudden, crazy messages like "Critical save error" started popping up. Followed shortly by "OpenOffice has experienced a crash. Restart?"

AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH… is what I said, accompanied by one or two choice epithets. Then I went to bed.

Finished reconstructing the damaged chapter this morning… sent it on its merry way… and now I’m going to get dressed and take my children to the park.

We find out this morning whose class Fisher will be in. Cross your fingers for Mrs. Fitzsimmons, though word on the street says all the first/second combo teachers at his school are awesome.

  1. Mimi says:

    Fingers crossed for you!

  2. You crack me up girl. I wish I had your flair for writing. You have the best blog 🙂

  3. Fingers crossed for Mrs. Fitz this year. I know how important things like that are to a child.
What the heck on the fatal error? I am finalizing this stinkin’ class that I have to teach in St. Louis and just this morning I said, “If this computer freezes up, my butt is in a sling.” You just wrote about my worst nightmare. I am so glad you didn’t lose everything. These computers… we have a love/hate relationship with them, don’t we!
