It’s an "altered" clipboard. Golly-gosh, I hate the whole "altered" concept. It smacks of unnecessary brown-ness and useless beribboned folderol.
Basically, I stuck some stuff on it to make it both cuter (matter of opinion) and useful-er (cold hard fact) than an ordinary white Masonite clipboard.
It’s a Christmas/Yule/holiday present for Fisher’s teacher.
Diane’s Daughters papers. The little brown things are actually magnets (how cute is that?!) and they sorta spell out Fisher’s teacher’s name, kinda.
Fanks so much for looking!
I just had to tell you I LOVE your sentiment )A red-haired blue-state girl in a blue-haired red-state world). Oh MY, that describes me TOO- have to steal that. I’m not really a blog reader but I loved your comments on altered objects. Too true (but yours is darling!)
I found your blog through someone else’s blog and LOVE reading it! Good stuff! I love the clipboard too!
LOVE the clipboard!!! too bloody cool!
Perfect, PERFECT use of the word, “folderol”!!! YEs!!! I think it’s a highly un-used word….in my humble opnion that is.
Love the clipboard, especially the magnets!
coming out of total bloglurkdom to pose the question: yes, it’s decorated, but if it’s still functional as a clipboard … then is it truly altered? And if it’s merely “decorated,” then you’ve in fact altered nothing, offended none of your own sensibilities, and can hand this off to Teacher with a merry hohoho in your heart!
*kiss* ;o)
I think the words folderol and balderdash are woefully under used. Thanks for bringing that one back into play.

I happen to think alterations are sometimes just the levity we need in life! Very fun clipboard.
