How to feel silly

  1. Throw on a mix of your favorite old-school metal tunes to get motivated for cleaning.
  2. Vigorously wash dishes, counter, etc.
  3. Become disgusted at filthy state of coffeemaker.
  4. Find self simultaneously headbanging to Slayer’s "Reign in Blood" and looking up how to clean the inside of a coffeemaker in Cheryl Mendelson’s Home Comforts. (I have it in hardcover.)

How the metal have fallen…

Yeeeeeeeeeah! You rock. Somehow you need to turn your…um…unique perspective into a million-seller. Just carefully vet the more revelatory family portions.

ROFL! I have it in hardcover, too. Several weeks ago, I feel asleep reading it in bed while watching a Dream Theater DVD with dh. Who fell asleep before me.
