Apt

So I start my day, as all good geek-girls do, at my Google homepage. Which features, among other things (like an RSS feed of my own blog… yeah, I’m lame), a Quote of the Day.

And now a chunk of backstory. Today’s the day that all the copy… articles, captions, sidebars, the whole shootin’ match… for the first issue of Digital Scrapbooking is due. (Subscribe now! Only $11.99 for 6 issues… this offer expires soon!) So, naturally, I have one big article, one medium article and one small article still to write. By 6:30, ’cause that’s when I’m meeting up with my buddy Zara for semi-celebratory, semi-kill the pain drinks.

All righty… so we’ve established that I’m on deadline here. And here’s today’s official Quote:

There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it. –Mary Wilson Little

I think blogging instead of working on these articles counts as "having lots to do and not doing it," don’t you?

Yep, that’s a good quote! And I am supposed to be doing laundry, grocery shopping, and packing to move to our new house, but I am on the computer, doing some, uh, productive stuff.
