Aashe Reshteh

This stew was featured on a show about traveling in Iran that the boys and I watched tonight. It immediately caught Rhys' eye and we had to Google the ingredients and figure out what it was as soon as the show was over. Now to track down some Reshteh noodles so we can make it ourselves!

Update: We did end up making it, just a few days later. Results here.

    Hey lady. That looks delicious…and wanted to let you know that last night I stumbled home late and made cauliflower-potato soup in ten minutes, inspired by a vague memory of seeing something like that here. Stock, cauliflower, half an old baked potato…and a blender. Voila!
    It’s almost like I’m a grown-up.
